The ESA Bulletin was ESA’s flagship magazine from 1975 to 2017. It described ESA’s activities for a broad audience, including the space-interested public, stakeholders and decision-makers. It included a mixture of informative and in-depth articles, as well as news items and status updates on technical projects.

Throughout its lifetime, the Bulletin marked ESA’s most exciting milestones and kept its readership informed of technical and programmatic developments. Circulation of the publication was free of charge, and reached 9900 copies at its peak before the increasingly digital world led to a change in policy.

The ESA Bulletin was discontinued after issue 172 in 2017.
