Space to learn
Young people are always fascinated by space exploration, and ESA is exploiting this latent curiosity to help stimulate a wider interest in science and technology.
Generating such an interest at an early age is important because our future development of space will depend on expanding the opportunities for scientists and engineers.
All of ESA’s Member States support our education initiatives, which encompass a wide range of tools and activities. At primary- and secondary-school level, most activities are directed towards the development of teaching tools, training and support to curriculum-based projects.
For higher education, agreements with universities, training opportunities and hands-on projects are all helping to support young Europeans with a serious interest in science and technology.
