The project
The task of the team is to determine the impact of the space environment, especially of the radiation, on the ESMO spacecraft. All electronics and subsystems have to comply with the levels of radiation tolerance necessary to survive the effects of space radiation environment throughout duration of the mission. The team provides an important input to the other ESMO teams required for their selection of components and subsystem design.
