The Science on Stage festival set that challenge to teachers who came up with these experiments and talks:

Representatives of ESA were among the founders of the competition along with their counterparts from CERN and the European Southern Observatory.
The programme aims to improve scientific (and particularly physics) literacy among European citizens, and to establish a network of experts on physics teaching and popularisation from all over Europe.
