New interference removal technology to be developed by GSTP
A newly initiated activity between GSTP and Integrasys in Spain will develop a technology for interference cancellation and removal.
The technology will be the first Spanish and European Interference Cancellation Technology for satellite signals that will not require a second antenna or prior knowledge of the interference parameters.
The new technology aims to be more affordable than any other solution in the market today, with a higher performance despite its smaller footprint. It will play a key role in communications networks.
The activity is co-funded through Element 2 of ESA’s General Support Technology Programme (GSTP). By supporting market-oriented activities, driven by industry, Element 2 encourages more ideas and partnerships and ultimately leads to the most innovative technologies for European space industry.
GT27-065ES was initiated in November 2020.
