STREEGO is an innovative optical payload for small satellites. The system has been developed for the market segment of high resolution payloads dedicated to precision agriculture, topography, security, urban development. It benefits from pioneering technologies enabling the production of cost effective satellites and small satellite constellations. The telescope, a TMA with 200 mm aperture, has a large focal plane that can accommodate either one panchromatic plus 9 multispectral channels or a hyperspectral detector delivering up to 154 bands between 470 and 900 nm to target the specific needs of precision farming and sustainable resource management applications.

Objectives
To design, manufacture and test a cost effective optical payload for medium-high resolution missions.

Achievements
The Engineering Model of STREEGO has been developed and built. The systems has passed all functional and optical performance tests reaching TRL 4 with remarkable WFE, MTF, SNR, linearity, and image quality.

Benefits
The STREEGO project has demonstrated that a cost effective high resolution payload can be manufactured for small satellites market.

Next Steps
The EM unit is part of a comprehensive roadmap to achieve flight qualification within 2019. As part of this roadmap, Media Lario has already planned exhaustive environmental tests in Q2 2017 to validate the design and operative performance and to achieve TRL 6. A PFM mission is being discussed with different potential end-customers.
