    By train

You can take the S-Bahn (local train) number 12 direction "Au Sieg" or number 13 direction "Troisdorf" from platform 10 at Köln Hauptbahnhof. Daytime departures take place every 20 min for both trains so that there is a train every 10 minutes. Exit the train at the stop "Porz-Wahn" (fifth stop for line 13 and sixth stop for line 12) and continue from there by bus number 162 (direction DLR-Köln-Wahnheide) or by taxi.

Note: Make sure that you have a valid ticket. Tickets for local train routes must be purchased in advance. If you need a ticket, you can get one from the orange ticket machines below platform 10. Please choose tarif 1b.

Taxis are available almost everywhere in Cologne. However, if you can't find one, you can call 19410 and ask to be picked up. Tell the driver to take you to Porz-Wahnheide, DLR premises, building 12. The price will very much depend on daytime and traffic but from Cologne central station to EAC without any traffic jam it should not exceed 35 Euros.

    By bus

To get to EAC by bus, take the bus number 162 from Porz-Wahn. The bus sign will show "DLR" and it runs every 30 minutes from 04:37 to 20:32. Please be sure that you take the one saying "DLR" as there are different routes for bus number 162. Exit at the last stop and you have arrived at the gate to the DLR premises. Train tickets to Porz-Wahn are also valid on the bus. The EAC building is about one kilometre away from the DLR gate (approx. 15 min walk)!
