    Counting down to launch

Space Shuttle Endeavour ready for launch
    1 February 2010

STS-130 (ISS assembly flight 20A) will be the next Space Shuttle mission to the ISS. The launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour is targeted for 7 February, at 10:39 CET. Endeavour will dock with the ISS on 9 February at 07:23 CET.

Commander of the STS-130 mission is George Zamka and Terry Virts Jr. is the pilot. Mission specialists are Nicholas Patrick, Robert Behnken, Stephen Robinson and Kathryn Hire.

Preparations for the launch are going on at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida and the official countdown to STS-130 mission is set to begin at 08:00 CET on Thursday 4 February. Space Shuttle Endeavour will lift off from remaining operative Shuttle launch pad, 39A.

The six STS-130 crew members entered quarantine on Sunday 31 January and they will fly to the Kennedy Space Center on Tuesday 2 February after conducting final integrated ascent training in the motion base simulator on Monday at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Node-3 and Cupola were inserted to the Shuttle's payload bay in late January and they are ready for launch.
