    Arianespace Flight 157: Mission failure

    Ariane 5 ECA
    12 December 2002

    Aproximatively 3 minutes after lift off an anomaly occurred thus ending the Flight 157 mission. Data analysis is in progress to determine the reason for this failure.

    A multiplex press conference is organized for today, Thursday 12 December, in Kourou at 10.00 am local time and between the Arianespace headquarters in Evry (2.00 pm Paris time), Arianespace Inc. Washington DC (08.00 am) and Arianespace Tokyo (10.00 pm Tokyo time)
