Shipped empty from Avio’s Colleferro premises in Italy, the P80 was loaded with 88 tonnes of solid propellants in Kourou’s Regulus facilities. Europropulsion then added the nozzle and pyrotechnic igniter. This photo shows nozzle integration with the inverted motor.
