Everything is on track.

23 August 2002 (D-4)

No activities are performed on MSG-1 today, but launch is confirmed for 27 August.

22 August 2002 (D-5)

We perform a manual countdown, basically, a dress rehearsal at D-3 days. Everything goes without any anomalies.

The dress rehearsal is the simulation of H0 - 10 hours until H0 + 30 minutes, including the participation of the co-passenger spacecraft on the launch vehicle.

21 August 2002

We charge the batteries and check their functions. No problems are discovered.

The satellite is unloading from payload container (the CCU2), and is been installed on the launcher with the specific MSG shock configuration. This consists of three shock attenuators: the passive shock attenuator device (100 kg in weight) the modular fitting dummy (700 kg), and the generic shock attenuator device (100 kg).
