What applications and missions does Systems Engineering enable?

Systems engineering and its associated discipline “Cost engineering” are fundamentals underpinning all ESA missions, and have played a major role in missions planned during the last ten years.

Future technology demonstration missions developed by ESA's Systems Engineering domain supports the validation of new approaches to Systems engineering in addition to their role of in-orbit testing of technologies and techniques.
