Follow ISS spacewalk through our 'EVA Blog'

On Thursday Expedition 13 crew members Thomas Reiter and Jeff Williams will perform a six and a half hour spacewalk, or Extra-Vehicular Activity (EVA), from the International Space Station. You can follow events as they unfold in our 'EVA Blog' which will be available in both English and German.

The blog editors will be located within the Columbus Control Centre (Col-CC) in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany, where they will work alongside ESA astronaut Reinhold Ewald to provide the latest images, commentary and behind-the-scenes information on the progress of the EVA, as well as additional background on the technology of spacewalking.

The spacewalk is due to start on Thursday 3 August at 15:55 CEST (13:55 UT) and is scheduled to continue until 22:15 CEST (20:15 UT) when Reiter and Williams re-enter the Quest airlock.

The two blogs, produced by ESA and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), will be opened on 2 August at the following web addresses:
