Teacher: Ivar Stokkeland.

Team members and roles: Marius Kvello (group leader), Henrik Von Heimburg (calculations and communications), Stian Brattgjerd Krogstad (software), Tor Erik Gaasvaer (hardware).

School: Levanger upper secondary school.

Country: Norway.

Description of the CanSat Missions: Basic mission: Measure temperature and pressure and calculate altitude.
Secondary mission: Make an airbag that can protect the CanSat during impact. The airbag must be inflated after deployment from the rocket. An accelerometer will be used to investigate the acceleration during decent and the forces in action during impact.

Progress: The CanSat is working fine, and the basic mission (temperature and pressure readings) is ready. The g-force sensor is connected; we have calibrated it and are getting ok readings from it. We are trying to measure the acceleration as often as possible. A solution for inflating the airbag has been found, and some testing of this mechanism has been done. A suitable parachute for the mission has been made, and we think the CanSat will be ready for launch when we get to Andøya.
