Ariane 5 made its first successful launch on 30 October 1997. Since it became operational Ariane 5 has launched satellites for communications, Earth observation and scientific research.

A small cartoon style website about the European launcher, Ariane 5. The website contains interactive stories and a quiz on how satellites are launched into space, and what the satellites are used for.
