Space Day in Hungary planned for 20 November

Mr Chris de Cooker, Head of the European Space Agency's External Relations Department, will be a guest speaker at Hungary's Space Day conference taking place in Budapest on 20 November.
 
Since 1992 the Hungarian Space Office, in cooperation with the Hungarian Astronautical Society, organises Space Day in Budapest. The conference is the most important Hungarian conference in the field of space matters in Hungary.

Space Day will take place in the auditorium of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics between 9:30 and 13:30. Registration is free of charge. The programme includes a welcome speech by Dr. Tibor Péceli, the Rector of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and an opening speech by Dr. Károly Molnár, the Minister for Research and Development.

Dr. Előd Both of the Hungarian Space Office will be giving a presentation regarding Hungarian Space Activity in the past year. Other presentations include a session on new opportunities and developments for the Hungarian Satellite Industry by János Solymosi and the results of Dr. Charles Simonyi's Space Dosimetry Experiments by István Apáthy of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
