General overview
 
The Plan for European Cooperating States (PECS) is designed to help European countries, particularly those that joined the EU after 2004, to join ESA. At present, Hungary, Poland and Romania have signed a PECS Charter.

Slovenia’s PECS signature kicks off busy year
 
22 February 2010   For one day only on 22 January, Slovenia’s white blue and red joined the flags of ESA’s member states fluttering above the European space technology centre ESTEC. Its raising marked the day Slovenia entered into its European Cooperating Agreement with the Agency, a formal signing to kick off an extremely busy 12 months ahead.

New ESA's European Cooperating States Show Interest in CDF
 
1 February 2010   On the 22 January 2010, the Slovenian Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology and His Excellency Ambassador Leon Marc were part of the Slovenian delegation which visited the CDF during their visit to ESTEC to sign the European Cooperating State Agreement with ESA.
