Global space actors to meet in Daejeon, Republic of Korea

Media accreditation invitation The 60th International Astronautical Congress IAC2009 will take place in the Daejeon, Republic of Korea, from 12 to 16 October.
The Congress – which last year attracted around 3000 participants – will be attended by scientists, engineers, heads of space agencies, business leaders and students to debate the latest ideas, current activities and future ambitions across a diverse range of space-related topics.
All members of the Media attending IAC2009 will require advance accreditation and the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is pleased to invite your Media organisation to apply. Media attendance is free.
Journalists should note that there will only be limited registration opportunities at the Congress itself and failure to register in advance may result in delays in gaining access.
Along with a separate completed registration form for each representative attending (including camera/production crew members), the supporting documentation for each application should include .PDF or .JPEG file copies of the individual’s passport and press card (or, if freelance, proof of employment/commission plus examples of published work).
Please note that Media accreditation will be granted only to those actively working in the Media (print, radio, TV, web) attending the Congress in a news-gathering capacity and to photographers commissioned by a news-gathering agency or specific publication.
All PR, advertising, marketing and sales representatives will require either Delegate or Exhibitor passes and should not apply for Media accreditation.
