Satellite image showing the ships for the International Fleet Review assembling in the Solent between the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth. This image was taken by the Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ASAR) instrument on board Envisat on 26 June 2005. The view was acquired in ASAR Image Mode with pixel resolution of 30 metres.

The Grand Turk (L) sails by the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle as the Queen reviews the International Fleet gathered in the Solent off the coast of Portsmouth, 28 June, 2005 during the Trafalgar Day celebrations. Queen Elizabeth II conducted the world's largest naval review, including ships from 35 countries, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, won by British naval hero Lord Horatio Nelson.

This image of the International Fleet Review was taken on the morning of 28 June by the EOC instrument onboard the KOMPSAT-1 satellite of KARI (Korean Aerospace Research Institute). The image has a spatial resolution of 6 m and was kindly acquired by KARI under ESA Third Party Mission cooperation.
