Article Images ESA Parabolic Flight Campaign successfully completed in Bordeaux ![]() A view inside the 'Zero G' cabin during the microgravity phase of a parabola during the 49th ESA Parabolic Flight Campaign. During a three hour flight, the aircraft and its occupants experience 30 parabolas. Each parabola lasts about one minute, of which the microgravity phase lasts some 20 seconds.

It is managed by Novespace, a subsidiary of CNES. ESA runs typically two parabolic campaigns annually. Scientists are regularly invited to submit experiment proposals for review and selection by peers.
