Meeting users' requirements
 
At present, GPS and GLONASS signals cannot be used for operations where safety is a priority. However, EGNOS will augment GPS and GLONASS signals so that they meet the most demanding requirements of European users. When improved, these signals will benefit aviation as well as many other forms of transport.
