Tunnelling machine breaks through

The tunnel boring machine breaks through at the Pannerdensch Kanaal twin tunnel near Arnhem, the Netherlands. This tunnel was drilled by Herrenknecht AG using a machine equipped with new transmitters spun off from Europe’s space programme.
