The completed payload "stack" is installed on the cone-shaped adapter unit that will serve as the installation interface with Ariane 5. Sloshsat is partly visible atop the main Maqsat B2 structure, covered by protective material. In addition to the fluid loop and micro heat pipe experiments installed inside the primary Maqsat B2 cylinder, the structure also carries electronics for the DVCAM system. DVCAM will image Ariane 5's liftoff and separation sequences using cameras outside and inside the payload fairing. The DVCAM system was developed by a team of CNES, Dassault and Arianespace.
