Telescope baffle - qualification model
This image depicts the qualification model of the telescope baffle in the Cleanroom at Contraves, Zurich.
The baffle serves to prevent unwanted, off-axis radiation from entering the telescope. The qualification model of the spacecraft structure will be tested to validate the mechanical design.
