Solar cells on Lombardy Region building, Milan

The 49 kW photovoltaic (solar cells) plant installed on the roof of the Lombardy region’s administration building in Milan, Italy. To understand if the plant is working correct, or if a failure has occurred, the system is monitored by use of satellite data. It is calculated based on the satellite data how much electricity the plant should produce at any time, which is then compared to the actual production.
