MAVinci’s SIRIUS Unmanned Aerial System workflow includes: The
planning of the flight is done by using the MAVinci desktop flight planning software. The flight plan is then transferred to the UAV.
Before takeoff, the user has to switch on the autopilot and then just throw the aircraft in the air – it then takes off by itself. During the flight the UAV follows autonomously a track that was planned before takeoff. The on board camera takes images automatically and the accomplished pictures is stored in an on board memory. After the flight the single pictures can be post processed to e.g. one large image.
