Ariane 5 liftoff on flight VA221
On 6 december 2014, Ariane 5 flight VA221 lifted off from Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana to place two telecommunications satellites, DirecTV-14 and GSAT-16, into their planned transfer orbits.
