Crew conference with friends and family of Expedition 40/41 seen from Moscow Control Centre in Russia. ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst, NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman and Roscosmos commander Maxim Suraev arrived at the International Space Station on 29 May 2014. Their Soyuz spacecraft latched onto the Station’s docking ports at 03:44 CEST 29 May 2014 after a six-hour flight.
The crew will stay on the International Space Station for six months and perform over 100 experiments during Alexander’s Blue Dot mission.
