The Mercury Transfer Module, with its Solar Electric Propulsion System powered by twin sets of 15-m long solar arrays, rests on the underside of the BepiColombo stack. Above it is ESA's Mercury Planetary Orbiter, the Sunshield and interface and Japan's Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter.
