Artists impression of the 36D satellite

The 36D telecommunications satellites was sold in March 2021 by manufacturer Airbus to satellite operator Eutelsat.

It was created as part of the Eurostar Neo product line developed under an ESA Partnership Project.

The programme aims to support European industry to deliver competitive satellites for the commercial satellite market.
