Images de la mission Proxima
Pendant son premier séjour à bord de l'ISS, Thomas Pesquet a pris des photographies époustouflantes de la Terre, mais celles-ci témoignent également de la pollution, la fonte des glaciers, la montée des eaux. Il était important pour l’astronaute que les gens prennent conscience de la grande fragilité de notre planète, au-delà de sa beauté.
Les images suivantes ont été postées par Thomas sur les réseaux sociaux lors de sa mission Proxima en 2016/2017.
La problématique écologique reste au coeur des préoccupations de l’astronaute lors de sa mission Alpha en 2021.
Views from the Proxima mission
During his first mission on board the ISS, Thomas Pesquet took hundreds of stunning photos of the Earth, but his images also bear witness to pollution, melting glaciers, rising sea levels. It was important to him to show the fragility of our planet, as well as its immense beauty.
The following is a selection of images posted by Thomas on social networks during his Proxima mission from 2016 to 2017. Environmental concerns remain close to the astronaut’s heart during his Alpha mission to the ISS in 2021.
