Using seaplanes to validate satellite detection of ocean plastic

Using satellites to detect marine litter is challenging, but we're working on it. SkyfloX, Plymouth Marine Laboratory and Aufwind collaborated on an ESA Discovery programme project using aeroplanes to validate & assess satellite observations of litter.
