Like many colleagues aboard the ISS, ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti enjoys looking out of the Cupola windows at Earth and taking pictures. In this image, she captured the Persian Gulf to show the diverse landscapes and ecosystems of the
Earth on the occasion of World Environment Day 2022.
