DESTINATION MOON
The Moon is our closest neighbour and a natural target for setting up a research base as we prepare to go deeper into the Solar System. Bold ambitions foresee humans exploring the polar regions hand-in-hand with robots, in international cooperation and with commercial partners. Europe is now building hardware for this new frontier. ESA’s future for human spaceflight and robotic exploration is a sustainable and international endeavour to visit new places and discover new things. Our strategy includes three destinations where humans will work with robots to gather new knowledge: low Earth orbit on the International Space Station, the Moon and Mars.

NÆSTE STOP: MÅNEN
Månen er vores tætteste nabo og et naturligt næste skridt for etablering af en forskningsbase, mens vi forbereder os på at udforske videre ud i Solsystemet. Ambitiøse målsætninger forestiller sig, at mennesker vil udforske Månens polar sammen med robotter i internationalt samarbejde og med kommercielle partnere. Europa er nu ved at bygge grundstenene for det næste skridt. ESA’s fremtid inden for bemandede rumflyvninger og robotudforskning er en bæredygtig og international bestræbelse for at besøge nye steder og opdage nye ting. Vores strategi omfatter tre destinationer, hvor mennesker vil arbejde sammen med robotter for at indsamle ny viden: lav jordbane på Den Internationale Rumstation, Månen og Mars.
