European team confirms negative ions presence on the Moon

The European team working with the Negative Ions at the Lunar Surface (NILS) instrument confirmed the success of their scientific mission aboard the Chang’e-6 spacecraft. They are seen in this image discussing raw data from the NILS instrument on the far side of the Moon.
