Genesis satellite design evolution

As part of a usual mission development process, the Genesis satellite design has evolved to accommodate more detailed constraints. This image shows the first two iterations of Genesis, during which the solar panels and other elements of the satellite shifted. After Preliminary Design Review, the high-level design of the satellite is set (not shown in this image). Further refinements, such as the solar array design and antenna placement, will still change until the Critical Design Review.
