Moving MTG-S1 and Sentinel-4 to Astrotech facilities

After arriving at Cape Canaveral harbour, US, the first Meteosat Third Generation Sounder (MTG-S1), with the Copernicus Sentinel-4 instrument on board, have been trasported to the Astrotech facilities, where preparation for launch will take place in the coming weeks.

Both MTG-S and Copernicus Sentinel-4 are world-class Earth Observation missions developed with European partners to address scientific and societal challenges, such as air pollution and extreme weather events.
