Agora sessions were an opportunity to gather to discuss some of the hot topics in Earth observation in a less formal setting. The Sustainable Horizons Award presentation is pictured – an award organised by the Young ESA Environmental Committee in recognition of innovative uses of Earth observation to tackle global challenges and protect our planet.
ESA’s Living Planet Symposium, one of the world’s leading Earth observation conferences, took place in Vienna, 23–27 June 2025. More than 6500 participants from almost 120 countries attended the event. With more than 4200 scientific presentations and posters, the symposium provided a forum and meeting point for scientists, academics and space industry representatives, as well as students and citizens.
