ESA at the UK Space Conference

ESA’s presence at the UK Space Conference was led by ESA’s Director General Josef Aschbacher, who participated in a session on the potential of space to supercharge the British economy. As well as outlining the opportunities of investing in space, the session highlighted the strong contributions of the UK to ESA programmes, including cutting-edge Earth observation missions, space science activities, and ensuring Europe’s autonomous access to space.
