Zefiro-40 gets into position

The Zefiro-40 motor being put into place on the launch pad for the next Vega-C flight VV27.

The Zefiro-40 motor powers the second stage of Vega-C, using 36 tonnes of solid propellant, providing an average thrust of 1100 kN.

VV27 will take Airbus Defence and Space's four CO3D satellites and CNES' Microcarb mission to space.
