Airbus’s pulse line manufacturing and assembly facility in Getafe, Spain used to produce elements for Europe's heavy lift rocket Ariane 6.
As a leading contributor to the rocket's structural framework, Airbus in Spain developed the upper part of the boosters and the Inter-Stage Forward Structure-Launch Vehicle Adapter components (IFS-LVA). These structures are known as "skeletal bridges" connecting different stages of the rocket, like bones connect body parts, ensuring stability and form. Similarly, Airbus in Spain designed the payload adapters that connect satellites to the rocket on their journey from Earth to space.
