Kiruna Ground Station (2011)

The Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TTC) station in Kiruna, Sweden – one of the key nodes responsible for maintaining communication with the Galileo satellites and supporting secure and reliable operations across the system. The Galileo Ground Segment forms a core part of the system, ensuring the continuous delivery of precise positioning, navigation and timing services worldwide. It comprises a network of control centres, uplink stations and sensor sites that monitor and manage the constellation’s health and performance.
