Helping space companies thrive in terrestrial markets

For more than twenty years, ESA's Business Incubation Centre network (ESA BIC) has been helping startups leverage space technology for innovative solutions in terrestrial markets. ESA BICs also support entrepreneurs aiming to develop products and services for the expanding space industry.

Located across 23 23 European countries, ESA BICs form a network of space incubators, each site playing a vital role in linking local and national ESA BICs to a broader international network of business innovation, professionals and space experts, fostering collaboration and resource sharing beyond regional and national boundaries. In Luxembourg, a similar initiative called the ESRIC Startup Support Programme operates as part of the network, expanding ESA startup support coverage to 24 countries.
