Mission Zero from the European Astro Pi Challenge is a simple, accessible coding task in which students display pixel art and take sensor readings using the Astro Pi – a space-hardened Raspberry Pi computer equipped with sensors and a camera. Registered teams develop and test their programs in a web browser before their code is uploaded to the Station. Eligible code submission run on the Station and display the student’s images or animations to astronauts as they go about their daily tasks.
