NASA astronaut Anil Menon during his first spacewalk on 6 August 2026.

Commander of the International Space Station Jessica Meir took the picture, and posted on social media: "That first spacewalk feeling! Congratulations to Anil Menon on his first spacewalk. Mission complete as we assembled the last of the mounting brackets that will hold another set of solar arrays to augment the International Space Station power supply."
