Galileo OSNMA

The Galileo Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA) is a data authentication feature for Galileo Open Service users worldwide, freely available. Since 2025, OSNMA ensures that the navigation messages received by users are genuinely from the Galileo system and have not been altered. This adds an extra layer of protection for users, increasing the resilience of Galileo.

Galileo OSNMA serves a wide range of target markets, including agriculture, rail, location-based services, timing, road services, civil aviation and the maritime sector.
