Seeing an eclipse through a colander

This image of a colander's shadow was captured during the 12 August 2026 solar eclipse. Each of the small holes in the colander project a small image of the partical eclipse, resulting in a beautiful collection of crescents. 

The photo was captured in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands.
