The moment of Ramses switch-on

The first switch-on of ESA-JAXA Ramses planetary defence spacecraft taking place at OHB Italia in Milan on 21 September 2026. Key Ramses units have been mounted within the module’s U-shaped body, and then linked together via intricate cabling, known as the spacecraft harness. The switch-on allows these units to be tested together for the first time.
