Discover "The Helix Nebula – the Science Cloud" a pioneering partnership between big science and big business in Europe that is charting a course towards the sustainable provision of cloud computing for science.
A high-level European event, organised by ESA in collaboration with the Helix Nebula consortium at ESA/ESRIN on 16 January 2013, is part of an overall cloud computing initiative that is aiming to build an ecosystem initially of data providers, scientists, small and medium companies, IT and downstream industry, working together to create a open and competitive market place for science, services and business.
