Simonetta Cheli, ESA’s Director of Earth Observation Programmes, welcomes the successful launch of the second IRIDE constellation, Eaglet II.

The Italian programme IRIDE has added eight satellites to its space fleet. The Eaglet II satellites lifted off on board a Falcon 9 rocket on 28 November 2025, from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, US.
